Welcome to Home of LoggerII

Hello and welcome to LoggerII
Why another logging program? Well I needed an updated Logger so
therefor I start creating this new LoggerII which inherit a lot
of the feature which I think make Logger my logging program and maybe
many other users logging program. Moving from the old DOS program to a
new Windows application and hopefully soon also a Linux version when I
get this new LoggerII more mature. It have just been living for 6 month
so there is maybe some bad/not working code but it have been used
successfully during the normal NAC contests which is the main task for
me. So welcome to enjoy it and hope you will like it even if it is at
least 10 years late as a replacer to the old DOS Logger program.
Some quick information about the program,
- Same start of contest by selecting contest, station and address.
- Start test for the coming contest view which give a nice overview of coming contests.
- Home log handling as the old Logger.
- Find and select call/locator as old Logger (note CTRL-L for locator search).
- I have added a callfile with name from log data uploaded to SSA NAC contest site.
- All log files is created in Log directory.
- All output files is created in Export directory.
- A web search log for upload to the web is created in Html/log (example SM7LCB imported Logger data, may take some time).
- WTSJ integration which seems not been enabled by default.
Enable it under start menu Logger / Modules / Interfaces and then Enable in WSJT tab (on4kst is not implemented).
- Legacy Logger import handling.
- Installer user data will be located in Documents/LoggerII directory.
Zip and tar user data will be located in the directory there is was unpacked.
....
- The program is still missing many features which is available in old Logger.
- Also radio control, DX-cluster, ON4KST integration... will see whats next.
Update 2026-05-28:
- Find some problems during the NAC microwave contest which gave on EDI-file output, now solve.
- Change the zip-file installer so that the LoggerII.exe is in a bin directory, major change.
- I have done a Linux build on Ubuntu which shall be possible to use on major Linux distributions, new.
Current download version 0.3.0 is via these links:
This release is still development version and as if have no major number it is
maybe not compatible to coming version, but I will try to make it
stable for coming version...
Good luck if you try and as before welcome to LoggerII with any response on the software (bad or good).
